Girls Scout Cookies and Blindness
I never in my right mind would of thought that a Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookie (my favorite!) could injury anyone. Some how Cole found a way to injury himself while eating the cookie. Cole decided that it would be fun to eat his cookie upside down. While eating his cookie upside down on our big bag he was chomping and making a really big mess of the cookie. In this attempt to eat his cookie he got several crumbs of the cookie stuck in his left eye. I am sure you can just picture the screaming fit that he was having at this point. DRAMA! Mark took him into our bathroom and tried to rinse the cookie out with no success. The large crumb was now lodged in the bottom of his eye lid up against his eye. No matter what we tried to do amongst the blood curdling screams the cookie would not come out. Mark then got a q-tip to try and help the crumb out. This took work on both of our parts holding him down and trying to persuade him to let us touch his eyeball. It was truly a losing battle, but after a couple of tries Mark was successful at getting the cookie out. So all of you out there that want to sit down and enjoy a cookie please remember not to eat your cookie upside down. Not a good idea at all!
