Kindergarten

What a big day for you Cole. Today was your first day of Kindergarten, can you believe you are old enough to go to Kindergarten. I know I can't, but I know you have been ready for the last year to go to the "big" school. You were so excited/nervous this morning before we went to school. You got ready so quickly (which is not normal) and were so excited to appease your Mom and take a picture and then head off to school. You were a little sad that today was only a orientation kind of day and the parents were able to come and learn about the classroom with you. I think you were just ready to go and learn all you can. I had an experience where what seemed like a moment time stopped and I saw you as a baby, a toddler, a little boy, and now the big boy that you are. It is so exciting for me and your Dad to see you grow and go on to new adventures.

Your teacher is absolutely amazing. I think you will have a remarkable experience and learn so much. To tell you how fun she is while you kids were out playing on the toys she ran outside with a Super Why Cape, mask, and wand and yelled "Calling all Super Readers!!!" So that you guys would know to come into the classroom. Seriously how awesome is she! I can't wait to see how you grow and develop over the next year.

Here are some pictures of my handsome kindergartner!!!

Awesome back pack.

Christian Stone and Cole

Oh I just thought of something funny that happened at orientation. Abby came with us for a minute before Dad took her over to school and when she went to leave she kissed you on the cheek and said by Cole. Your face went so red and in shock. You looked at me and whispered "Not at school!" It was one of the cutest/funniest things I have seen.

I want to take a second and tell you how proud I am of you. You are amazing in every way. Your ability to observe and identify the world around you remarkable. You make friends where ever you go and I know without a shadow of a doubt that you will be very successful at school. I hope you will always remember that you are a child of God and that he loves you, and I we as your family love you more than you know. Keep up the good work and you will do great!!!

Love Mom!
